Retro Con is a gaming convention centered around retro video games and gaming culture. The convention is known for its massive marketplace, esports competitions, free-play arcade, tabletop gaming, cosplay, and YouTube industry guests and panels.
Approach
Inspired by class video games from the 80's and 90's, RetroCon's branding is meant to invoke nostalgia. To reflect this, the color palette and visuals draw inspiration from the 8-bit graphics style and retro arcade interiors. Combining this unique style with minimalist design choices gives the brand a modern and clean look while remaining fun and friendly.
